1. Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the Pulse Oximeter
2. Open the clamp, then place one finger into rubber hole of the Pulse Oximeter as far as possible with nail surface upward, then release the clamp to close
3. The data should take 5 seconds to appear while a reading is obtained
