This was a perfect solution! Updated TV for my 91 year father which was great, but the very small/narrow solar remote that came with it was most certainly NOT. It was not even a little similar to the regular remote control he's been used to and he has to remember to charge it as well. He's had a frustrating time trying to navigate his way around the TV with this remote. SO, found this option online (with fingers crossed), ordered one. Took about a week to arrive which was ok. The remote is bigger and basically looks like the standard remote he's been familiar with all these years, inserted batteries and it just worked! It was like magic! So grateful to have this option for my Dad and anyone else who struggles with newer technology/gadgets/equipment that makes it a challenge to operate successfully. Very inexpensive and definitely worth having as a back-up if your newer remote is not user-friendly and prone to problems. Think I might need to get one for myself.

It must take awhile to zone into the tv. But 2/3 on offs and all buttoms work. Button position and feel is exactly the same as a new Samsung remote.
